Sergio, Liz and the family will be leaving Mozambique in June and will be leaving BMS in September. They began their mission work in Mozambique in May 2014, working in partnership with the Mozambique Baptist Convention. Sergio and Liz have concluded after a time of praying and reflecting that God has something else instore for them. They have two children, Chloe and Joshua.
